Emergency dental care
The following situations are considered dental emergencies:
Accidents
Accidents resulting in chipped, broken, or knocked-out teeth.
Bleeding
Persistent bleeding or other complications following the extraction of a tooth.
Infections
A swollen cheek accompanied by a fever (over 38°C).
Post-Treatment Pain
Some discomfort after dental treatment is normal and can usually be managed with pain relief, such as paracetamol. In some cases, antibiotics or prescription pain medication may be required. If you are experiencing severe pain, please contact our emergency dental service. For less urgent symptoms, please contact our practice on the next working day.
We know how important it is to receive prompt dental care, especially if you're in severe pain. That's why emergency dental care is available 24 hours a day.
